In this privacy statement we aim to provide clear and transparent information on what data we collect and how we handle with personal data. We do everything we can to guarantee your privacy and will therefore be careful with personal data. Cooper complies in all cases with the applicable laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation.
This privacy policy applies to the processing of personal data of customers, professional partners and anyone who comes into contact with Cooper regarding our services, including visitors and prospective tenants of our properties or office, users of the website, landing pages the Cooper app, external software applications connected to Cooper, social Media, etc.
By providing your personal data to Cooper, you expressly consent to its to process them for the purposes set out below.
This entails that, in any event:
- process your personal data in accordance with the purpose for which they are provided;
- limit the processing of your personal data to only those data that are minimally necessary for the purposes for which they are processed;
- ask for your explicit consent if we need it to process your personal data;
- have implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures so that the security of your personal data is guaranteed;

Processing purposes
Cooper rents out fully renovated, energy-efficient and ready-to-use residential properties. In this context, Cooper collects and processes your personal data for the purposes of, for example, providing you with information, drawing up rental agreements, any utility transfers, communicating with any estate agents, finding a suitable property for the potential occupant, providing services before, during and after the rental, marketing, requesting legally required information and such more.
For the above purposes, we may request the following personal data from you: name, first name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, national registration number, company no, account number, date and place of birth, ...
Cooper collects, processes and stores only the data that are strictly necessary to fulfil the predefined objectives.
Legal basis(s) of processing
Personal data are processed on the basis of Article 6.1. (a) consent, (b) necessary for the performance of a contract and (c) necessary to comply with a legal obligation of the General Data Protection Regulation.
To the extent that the processing of personal data takes place on the basis of Article 6.1. a) consent, you always have the right to withdraw the consent given.
Third-party services
This website may link to third-party platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. On these platforms you can disclose (personal) information yourself. These organisations have their own policies for protecting your personal data. Cooper bears no responsibility in the privacy policies of these social networks.

If necessary to achieve the purposes set out, personal data will be shared with other companies within the European Economic Area that are directly or indirectly related to Cooper or with any other partner of Cooper.
A processor agreement has been concluded with each party that includes the necessary arrangements to ensure the security and confidentiality of your personal data.
Cooper guarantees that these processors will take the necessary technical and organisational measures to protect personal data.
Cooper undertakes not to share your data with anyone other than the above-mentioned persons, except as provided for by law.

Cooper has taken the appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect you. Taking into account the state of the art and the costs of implementation, these measures guarantee an appropriate level of security given the risks involved in the processing and the nature of the data to be protected.
Right of access, improvement, elimination, restriction, objection and transfer of personal data
You have the right to inspect your personal data at any time and may correct it (or have it corrected) if it is inaccurate or incomplete, have it deleted, restrict its processing and object to the processing of personal data concerning you on the basis of Article 6.1 (f), including profiling on the basis of those provisions.
