Once a Cooper, always a Cooper.

Stepping into the Cooperhood is a commitment for at least six months, which creates the possibility to build friendships for life. Regular events are hosted by and for the Coopers to bond and network in an environment filled with like-minded people.

At Cooper, it's all about creating a warm and friendly environment with the opportunity for greater connection with other residents. Coopers will enjoy this great community for the rest of their lives.

Cooper stands for eco-friendly and sustainable living.

A-label

Sustainabilty at its finest. By making sure every Cooperhood is marked with an A-label we lower our environmental impact and energy bill. Good for your wallet & the planet.

Green living is easy

Living sustainably isn’t hard at all. We hand it to you on a silver platter: from eco-friendly dishwasher tablets and natural soap to clean energy from our own solar panels. Green is the new black and we make it happen!

Vintage interior

We upgraded our Cooper homes by using vintage furniture and decorations. This way we give a lot of pieces a second life and lower your ecological footprint.

What really matters to us is giving our residents a fantastic and carefree living experience. From the moment you choose Cooper, we provide a connected and carefree life. We want our Coopers to feel at home, away from home.

In order to guide everyone in the best way possible, our Captain Cooper (her name is Lies), is there to answer all of your questions and help you with all of your concerns, big or small. Oh, and by the way, she doesn’t shy away from organizing a little after-work party 😉.

A sustainable way of life

Cooper is part of the change. All Coopers have been renewed to future proof 2050 complaint low energy houses. Our energy efficient houses all feature solar panels, extreme insulation, 3 triple glazing, reuse of rainwater, heat pump boilers, etc. Because of this, our renewable energy is generated on site!

Our beautiful green roofs do not only look aesthetically pleasing, but also buffer rainwater.

To encourage sustainable travelling, most Cooperhoods provide spacious bicycle storage facilities. Parking facilities for cars are not provided. We encourage the use of shared cars and bicycles, or public transport offered by the City of Ghent.

Meet Eva

This is Eva, shot in our very own Cooper depot where she gives a lot of furniture a second life! At Cooper, we are absolute fans of vintage interiors. It really makes a home one of a kind because each piece is so unique. It’s also a true journey through time. With vintage second-hand furniture, you save significantly on raw materials, transportation costs and packaging materials.

Thanks to camera-shy Eva our houses get their very unique Cooper colors too! :)

Through our sustainable way of living, responsible waste (re)cycling, and being energy conscious, we encourage our Coopers to live more sustainably.
